About DigitalMSDS
What is DigitalMSDS?
DigitalMSDS is a chemical-safety platform for the workplace. At its core is a searchable database of over 249,000 chemicals, aggregated from authoritative U.S. regulatory sources, with GHS hazard classifications, occupational exposure limits, and physical properties. On top of that database, it provides the tools a team needs to stay organized and compliant: SDS binder management with verification, a compliance dashboard with an audit trail and exportable reports, a manufacturer SDS library of real safety data sheets, and role-based access for your whole team.
The chemical search is free and always will be. The binder management, compliance dashboard, SDS library, and multi-user team features are available on our paid plans. Create a free account to get started.

| OSHA Chemical Database | Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL), physical properties, NFPA ratings, synonyms | 831 |

How We Match Data
Chemical records are linked across databases using CAS Registry Numbers when available, and by chemical name matching otherwise. Not all chemicals have complete data from every source — fields are populated when data is available from the respective agency.
Disclaimer
The chemical database on DigitalMSDS is compiled from publicly available regulatory databases for informational and reference purposes only.
This database does not replace the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for any specific product. SDS documents contain product-specific safety information including first aid measures, firefighting procedures, handling and storage guidelines, and emergency contact information that this database does not provide.
The manufacturer SDS library provides actual safety data sheets sourced directly from manufacturers, but a document on file may not always be the manufacturer's most recent revision. Verify currency with your supplier before relying on any SDS in the library.
Always consult the official, current SDS from your chemical supplier before handling, storing, or transporting any chemical substance.
M3A LLC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data presented. Data is sourced from PubChem, OSHA, NIOSH, and chemical manufacturers, and may not reflect the most recent regulatory updates or product revisions.
